Have you noticed the return of 601 cigars to the humidor?

This Don Pepin cigar made for United Tobacco is now marketed by Rocky Patel and it’s price has been reduced by about $2.00 a stick on average. The 601 Blue is a aged blend of Nicaraguan tobaccos with a Maduro wrapper and a slight box pressed. This is a medium to full bodied cigar with superb taste, flavor and aroma. Not strong but really packs a load of flavor.

My favorite is the 601 Green label, the aged Nicaraguan binder and filler are wrapped in a Habano Oscuro wrapper that helps create a complex cigar with a balance between sweetness from the wrapper and a nice “pop” of spice. For me I think this cigar has a killer finish.

Don’t overlook Cubao, this funky looking cigar has lots of things going on…right now I’m puffing on the #4..spice,leather, coffee and h’mm a little licorice.

A rustic Ecuadorian Sumatran wrapper around aged Nicaraguan tobaccos make this an interesting change of pace cigar for late afternoon..
