WHAT: Craft Beer Tasting

WHEN: April 30th 2011 1pm – 4pm

WHERE: Sir Toms Tobacco Emporium

I’m sure you have heard that Craft Beers are the new wines or something like that…so I’ve decided to hold a
beer tasting here at the store.

There will be a nominal cost ($5.00) for the tasting and I would ask you to please “make a reservation” no later than Thursday April 28th to insure that we have enough to go around.

Our current plan is to “taste” 3 styles of beer that will match up with a cigar if you would like or just to experience a beer you may not have tried before. Each beer will be sampled in 4oz. portions, so that you can
enjoy its uniqueness and not require a DD!!!

UPDATE: We’ve Selected the Following for Tasting
North Coast Scrimshaw Pilsner: European style pilsner, using German malts and 2 types of hops. A crisp, clean palate and a dry finish. ABV 4.4%

Left Hand Brewing 400 Pound Monkey: English-style IPA, a medium bodied ale, earthy and herbal, and well balanced by bready malt. ABV 6.8%

Bell’s Double Cream Stout: blended with 10 different specialty malts create great depths of flavor. A smooth and creamy texture with a focus on softer cocoa notes and a espresso aspects from the roasted malts. Just a hint of burnt notes on the finish. ABV 6.1%

We have a few spots still open so E-mail or give us a call to hold a spot for you..

Hope you can make it..

You can skip to the end and leave a response. Pinging is currently not allowed.
